Project Description: For this project, we conducted a survey and usability test to learn more about the habits of Limited English Proficiency users for our client at OHSU to better understand how they interact with the OHSU website. Using the demographic data collected, each member of our team created a persona for the client. This allowed us to deliver information to the client regarding user needs, experiences, and goals. I created the persona of Sofia Ortiz to bring to life a user who was moderately proficient in English and had an overarching goal and concern of getting her chronically ill daughter the best medical care possible.

Project Description: For this project, our team worked for the Assistant Director of Language Services at Oregon Health & Science University to test their website for accessibility for Limited English Proficiency users. We conducted a survey and a usability test, the results of which we analyzed and evaluated for pertinent findings and recommendations to present to our client. The information was compiled into a topline report, as well as this slide deck. My group was in charge of designing the slideshow and reworking the information from the topline report to suit the genre of a presentation. Additionally, I was one of three students who presented the slide deck to our client.
